Policy Agreement


Keys
We require one working/tested copies of your house key, but prefer two. By keeping your key on file with us, we can more easily accommodate your pet sitting reservations. Our security bonding and liability insurance allows you peace of mind in knowing we will safeguard your key(s). Only an internal code number are on the keys and they are stored in a locked safe in a locked office. If you prefer to have your key returned, there will be a $10 pick up/return fee each time and we will need to coordinate that a minimum of 7 days before services.   We LOVE keyless entry (key pad or garage key pad) however, we still need one key to store in our locked cabinet in the event there is a malfunction with the key pad or garage door, or a power outage.

Last Minute Mid-Day/Drop In Visits
Mid-Day/Drop In visit requests with less than 72 hours notice that staff are able to accommodate will have a $8 per visit short notice fee which is paid directly to the Leads team member willing to cover last minute. 

Last Minute Staycation Request
We prefer to have a minimum of seven business days before the the date of the first visit for all staycation reservations. This allows us time to enroll new clients and/or to prepare our team members schedules accordingly. If you need staycation services with less than seven business days' notice and we have available staff to accommodate the request there could be a $30 short notice fee which is paid directly to the pet sitting staff. Reservations made during non-office hours will be considered the next business day.


Staycation Cancellation Policy: Non-Holiday
During non-holiday periods cancellations with less than 3 days notice, will be charged 50% of the total invoice.

Staycation Cancellation Policy - Holidays
Reservations cancelled during a holiday time period (including Spring Break) require a minimum of 10 days notice to avoid the 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation period begins with the first day of the service period. If you return from your trip early, we request notification of at least 24 hours. Otherwise no refund or credit will be issued made for unused visits.

​Holiday periods include but are not limited to New Year's, Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and for the busy Christmas holiday we consider it to be 12/20-1/2.

Mid Day/Dog Walking Cancellation Policy
As long as you contact us 2 hours before our scheduled walk, you will not be charged. If we are headed to or arrive to your home for your scheduled walk and you are home or the dog is not home, the full fee will be charged.

Holiday Surcharges
 There will be an additional $8 per visit fee for services on the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.


House Access Policy
For the safety and best possible care of your four legged loved ones and your home, we ask that no one besides Leads employees, care for your pets during the service period in order to avoid missed/doubled feedings or medications, pets escaping, etc. If you believe that is unavoidable, please contact Leads management to discuss. It will be managements decision if we are able to provide services for you. If you have a house keeper or other non-pet related person with access to your home, please provide their contact information.

Service Agreement/Contract
Leads Pet Care (Leads) is authorized to perform care and services outlined under each individual service period invoice, including but not limited to dog walking, pet sitting and house sitting tasks. Both Leads and Client recognize that the welfare of the animal is the highest priority. If in Lead's judgement additional services become necessary during the service period to properly care for the animal, Leads will first make reasonable attempts to contact Client. If Client cannot be reached, Leads will reach out to Emergency Contact listed. Leads is authorized to undertake such additional steps as may in the reasonable judgment be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal, including but not limited to (a) additional visits by Leads to provide care for the animal; (b) consultation with Client's Veterinarian listed on the previously provided questionnaire, or with an emergency veterinary care provider should Client's Veterinarian be unavailable; (c) authorizing care and treatment as recommended by Client's Veterinarian or an emergency veterinary care provider (excluding euthanasia) up to a maximum cost previously discussed (d) such other steps as may in the reasonable judgment of Leads be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal. Client agrees to be responsible for all fees and expenses incurred for care and treatment of the animal pursuant to this paragraph, and releases and holds Leads harmless from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expense. Client agrees to reimburse Leads for any expense incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to animal's needs or any expenses incurred for any other home/food/supplies needed.

+In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, Leads is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. Leads will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.

+All pets are to be currently vaccinated (or titer-tested immune) for rabies and other diseases as required by law, unless a waiver of medical necessity is provided by veterinarian. Proof of vaccinations, titer results or veterinarian's medical waiver must be produced by Client upon Leads request.

+Leads agrees to provide the services stated in this contract in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, CLIENT EXPRESSLY WAIVES AND RELINQUISHES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST Leads ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF SERVICES HEREUNDER, EXCEPT THOSE ARISING FROM GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT ON THE PART OF Leads. SHOULD Leads OR ANY AUTHORIZED PERSON ACCOMPANYING Leads SUSTAIN ANY INJURY, DISEASE OR OTHER HARM IN THE COURSE OF PROVIDING SERVICES HEREUNDER, CLIENT WILL INDEMNIFY Leads AND HOLD IT HARMLESS WITH RESPECT TO ALL LOSS, EXPENSE AND DAMAGE CAUSED THEREBY, EXCEPT THOSE ARISING FROM GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT ON THE PART OF Leads.

+Client acknowledges that by using their digital signature, he/she is providing complete, truthful and accurate information, including pet's bite history. If information provided is proven to be false, Leads reserves the right to terminate services immediately and without further notice.

+Client acknowledges that by using their digital signature, he/she understands he/she has access to electronic records for Client and pet(s). It is the Client's sole responsibility to ensure all information provided is complete and up to date at all times, including, but not limited to, medications, medical conditions and feeding instructions.

+Client acknowledges that by using their digital signature, he/she is providing written approval for the provision of services by Leads during any service period scheduled by Client and accepted by Leads. Upon such scheduling and acceptance, Leads will be authorized to enter Client premises and perform services without additional signed contracts or written authorization.

+Client acknowledges that by using their digital signature, they understand that their invoice needs to be paid in full by the due date provided. If not paid on time, Leads has the right to add on late fees. If not paid, Leads has the right to cancel/refuse any future services. If a card is saved in the system and autopay is turned on Leads has permission to move forward with payment. If payment is not in system or card is declined Leads will move forward with other actions.

I have reviewed this Service Contract in its entirety. The information provided by me is complete and accurate and I agree to all its terms and conditions as set out above.
